DDA for Faculty
Direct Digital Access (DDA) is AACC's inclusive Access program.
The bookstore partners with VitalSource to manage our DDA pogram. Faculty need to add the VitalSource tool to courses, even when using courseware linking directly to a publisher. Adding the VitalSource tool allows your students to opt-out, and is a federal requirement for inclusive access programs.
Opt-out dates now match the College 100% refund date. Opt-out dates also display within the VitalSource course materials tool and are included in our introductory DDA email to students.
If you're using an eText, VitalSource has an instructor portal where you can:
- Monitor student enagement
- Create flashcards and highlights to share with your students
- Review best practices for teaching with digital materials
